Help build a better future for Nyanfreku Ekroful

Hello Everyone!!

I am Dave Bishop, executive director of Dave’s Choice Community Development Corp that’s a 501c3 nonprofit located in the US. Our nonprofit's mission is to affect, empower, and impact the lives of underrepresented children and families through career preparation, life skill development, and youth programming.

Today, I came here to ask all of you for help! It's for communities in West Africa, specifically in Nyanfreku Ekroful, Ghana. As the Development Chief of the project, I am committed to helping the people of Nyanfreku Ekroful achieve their goals and improve their living conditions.

Nyanfreku Ekroful is a small community located near the coast in the Central Region of Ghana. The people here are primarily involved in farming, fishmongering, day labor, and trading.

The community has a kindergarten, primary school, and junior high school, as well as a health clinic. However, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done to improve the living conditions of the people here.

Our community has identified three key areas that need urgent attention: improving the toilet facilities, upgrading the water system, and enhancing the health clinic.

To achieve these goals, we are raising funds for three specific projects.

Firstly, we need to build a waiting room and intake center for our medical clinic. This will provide a more comfortable and organized space for patients and their families while they wait to see a doctor. This is an essential need for the community, as the current waiting area is overcrowded and not suitable for the number of patients we serve.

Secondly, we are planning to build a dorm-style sleeping quarters for our local teachers. The majority of our teachers live miles away from the school and they have to travel long distances every day with unreliable transportation to get to work.

This new facility will provide them with a safe and comfortable place to stay during the week, which will enable them to focus more on their teaching responsibilities and provide a better education for our children.

We plan to build an 8-bedroom sleeping quarters to accommodate as many teachers as possible.

Lastly, we need to upgrade the Dubar Center, which is our community's worship and activities center. The center is in need of new roofing, and additional restrooms need to be constructed to accommodate the growing number of people who use the center for various events.

To make these projects a reality, we need your support. We are seeking to raise $15,000, which will be used to cover the costs of the materials and labor required for these projects.

Every dollar you donate will go towards improving the lives of the people of Nyanfreku Ekroful, and we are grateful for any amount you can contribute. No matter how small, your donation will make a significant impact on the lives of the people in Nyanfreku Ekroful.
