Help build a gym at Pohnpei SDA School!

Imagine a place where every student has the opportunity to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. That's exactly what we're striving to create here at Pohnpei SDA School, and we need your help to turn this vision into a reality.

Pohnpei is a beautiful island, but unfortunately, our community faces significant challenges when it comes to health and wellness. With only two expensive gyms on the island and limited accessible walking areas, many of our residents, including our students, struggle to find affordable ways to stay active and maintain their well-being.

That's why we're launching this fundraiser to build a gym facility right here at Pohnpei SDA School. With approximately 300 students, including 100 in high school, our campus is the perfect place to promote physical fitness and holistic wellness.

But we need your support to make this dream come true. Our goal is to equip the gym with essential fitness equipment such as power racks, dumbbells, weight plates, barbells,

and yoga mats. These resources will not only benefit our students but also our entire community, providing a safe and accessible space for everyone to prioritize their health.

Our campus currently has an old weight gym; however, the equipment is outdated, breaking, and not enough to meet our students' needs. Despite this, our students have shown dedication by helping clear out the room of trash. To ensure they have the resources they need to prioritize their health, we urgently need to upgrade and expand our gym facilities.

We understand the importance of safety, especially when it comes to physical activity. That's why we're committed to implementing strict safety precautions, including constant adult supervision and safety orientations for all gym users.
