Help build a memorial bench for Holly Tarter
Donation protected
Hello friends,
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I tell you that Holly Tarter has passed from this life. She was known and loved by many of you. She was a mother of 4 and best friends and wife to Josh Tarter. Holly was sick on and off during Covid. Most people didn’t know she was sick because she didn’t want people burdened with the news and also because if you saw her she rallied hard to be full of life despite her illness. The final complications of her death are still not clear but she succumbed to a infection on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 27th.
Like all of you, I am wishing I had spent more time with Holly as she was one of my favorite people, my best friend and the nicest most supportive person I knew.
She was a dreamer and honestly if you weren’t dreaming she didn’t want to hear about it . She always wanted to fulfill her dreams and help others get to live out theirs (this in Hollys view was the most important thing in life).
Holly loved people, animals and plants, actually just about anything alive. She had a bleeding heart for the forgotten, underserved and underrepresented.
Hollys dreams lie on beaches in tropical countries with humid nights and banyan trees. All she really wanted to do was travel. When she was planning a trip or actually traveling all her worries melted away and she was free from burden and pain. She would wish the same adventure for anyone she would ever meet, including her own children.
She was also the most trusting and supportive person and mom I knew. Holly unschooled her children believing in their freedom and trusting their path and it was through unschooling that I met Holly. She was a wonderful mother, wife and friend.
This go fund me is to build a park bench with a lovely plaque, so we can rest our bones and dream our biggest and boldest dreams while sitting with Holly like we used to.
Any money over the amount for the bench will go to the family or to charity.
