Help Build a Retreat Oasis in Costa Rica

My husband is from a small town in Carribbean Costa Rica called Cahuita. He owns a 5acre gorgeous plot of jungle land with a beautiful home, fruit trees, and medicinal plants - just a few minutes from protected stretches of luscious Caribbean Beaches.

We are tending a profound vision of supporting his family, the local community, the land and the many incredible visitors who desire to drench in the nourishment of this jungle oasis.

Our goal is to raise the funds to :

+ Fix up the big house to be a fully operational B+B to be locally operated by local family.

+ Build a beautiful shala to host classes of 50-100 people for retreats and festivals and invite guests to host retreats. His family is already donating much of the wood needed.

+ Obtain camping equipment to host another 30 people on the land during festivals

+ Support the local neighborhood by purchasing materials, art, and supplies to host retreats and festivals on the land

+ Build a stage and any other small structure to support our first festival in 2026

B+B vision :

To turn the big house into a Caribbean bed + breakfast which will support his family. It has 3 bathrooms and 4 guest rooms which need some TLC to be operational but will be able to host 10-12 people depending on the sleeping arrangement required during events, or regular operation.

SHALA Retreat / Festival Vision :

We plan to honor the donations made with festival passes and options to come host retreats on our property.

A structure for donation/ sponsorship and deeper involvement in the project including opportunities for founder membership are coming soon.
