Help build a toilet block for Nuhu school Gambia
Donation protected
We are a group of volunteers who will be going to The Gambia in April 2022, to help build a toilet block for a rural community school. The school has over 400 children attending each morning, only as there are no funds and they school cannot afford lunches for the children. There are no qualified teachers and very few teaching resources. Each rainy season the mud built classrooms are washed away and need to be rebuilt each year.
Our planned 2022 trip, is very special as we would like to raise £2000 to build a 6 cubical toilet block to replace the hole in the ground, presently used. A new toilet block will provide desparatly needed sanitation and sinks for hand washing, therefore reducing the risk of illness and disease.
With your help we will be able to help hundred of child stay safe and well, so that they can continue attending school and work towards a better future.
Thank you for considering helping this fundraising project.
