Help Build New Enclosures at Pool Nature Center

Tax deductible

Due to unforeseen circumstances related to building conditions at the museum, Southern Vermont Natural History Museum (SVNHM) needs to move its animals to the organization’s New Marlboro, Vermont property.

Will you join us today in supporting this important move?

We have a great spot in mind and dedicated community partners ready to lend a hand, but this sudden pivot comes with a price tag. Your donation will help to defray the expense of building new homes for SVNHM animal friends.

If you are not familiar with the Marlboro site, this recently acquired property includes 7 acres of land and trails, as well as a newly erected outdoor pavilion.

While this move from our current home does evoke some bittersweet feelings, we ultimately see this as an opportunity for positive change. This evolution as an organization will open doors and allow SVNHM to achieve new things—to act as a resource to the community in a way that is not possible at our current leased location.
The plan is to finish building enclosures and to fully relocate all SVNHM animals ASAP.

We hope that we can count on you during this time of transition by helping us to construct wonderful new homes for our animals.

Thank you in advance for your contribution and for your support of the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum! Contact us if you would prefer to donate carpentry skills!
