:: Holistic Healthcare for Hawaii ::
We are the folks behind a small holistic health clinic, Celestial Acupuncture & East Asian Medicine in Keaau, Hawaii, and we are starting a nonprofit called The Celestial Center.
Many low income individuals in the Puna district of Hawaii -- as well as surrounding areas on the island -- do not have access to holistic health care because their Medicare or Medicaid insurance will not provide coverage. The mission of The Celestial Center is to help provide care to those in financial need, including individuals with terminal illnesses.
Our existing clinic (shown in the photo above) has the space for private one-on-one sessions, but it is not big enough for wellness classes and the educational group activities that we envision hosting at The Celestial Center. In order to meet this need, we are going to build an additional healing center on our Keaau property to be used for group treatments and health focused classes for public education.
Your donations go directly toward funding the materials, efforts and labor costs to build our nonprofit's healing space.

We are The Celestial Center, a 501(c)(3) Big Island-based nonprofit with an essential mission: To provide holistic care and wellness education at low cost to those in need.
Here at The Celestial Center, we strive to make complementary and alternative medicine accessible, offering modalities such as acupuncture, massage, and herbalism. We also aim to offer educational services for inner healing, such as workshops, classes, internship opportunities, and holistic retreats.
We were formed with one main goal in mind: To provide the highest quality, individualized holistic care to those in need, removing the barrier to access for whole body-and-mind healing services that would otherwise only be available to certain demographics. We treat with a body-mind-spirit approach and provide patients with tools for self-empowerment and increased vitality.
