Help The Pastry Project Build A Community Space

The Pastry Project is a social enterprise that provides free baking and pastry training to individuals with barriers to opportunity. We taught and graduated our first cohort of students this year in the back kitchen of The London Plane and placed them in jobs with hiring partners. Now we’re building our own training kitchen and community workshop space and WE NEED YOUR HELP! We received grant funding from a community nonprofit, which covers the majority of our construction costs, but we really need community support finishing the space and getting the equipment, library and tools that will benefit everyone, from our students to local baking and pastry lovers like you! 

Funding will go to vital purchases like: 

Our production oven, student workstations, a freezer, tools and equipment for student classes and for our free community library. Any support will also help with our unforeseen construction costs, including the need for a new electrical panel to make sure we have the power needed to run our equipment during classes.
