Support Posen's Pat & Barb Kowalski Memorial Baseball Field

Posen High School is in the process of building a new baseball field on school property. Due to safety concerns for both players and spectators the old field needs to be retired. This move will also place both the baseball and softball fields on school property making it more convenient for parents and fans who have players on both teams to watch games. The new field will honor the Legacy of Pat and Barb Kowalski. As many of you know, Pat was a long-time teacher, coach, and friend to all who knew him, serving as the Posen Varsity Baseball Coach for over 30 years. His time, dedication and love for the youth of this community is widespread. Generations have played under his leadership and guidance. The decision to name the field after Pat and Barb was an easy decision and will honor their legacy for more generations to come.

With that being said, a new field will be a big undertaking and will come at a great cost. To accomplish our goal, we need things such as new fencing, irrigation, dugouts, bleachers, sod and dirt just to name the big things. We already have some amazing people and businesses who have agreed to help get the field ready for these things. They are donating their time, equipment and supplies to get this project off the ground. Now we are asking for everyone else’s help to make this new field a reality.
