Support the Sunbury Arts Council

UPDATE: 

The Sunbury Arts Council is in need of community support. We have been patiently waiting for our IRS determination later for close to a year. We are Registered as a State Nonprofit but unfortunately without the determination letter we are unable to seek any type of state or government funding.  It is our goal to keep all of our festival fees at a low cost for our artist, as we currently reinvest it all into making our festivals a success.  Our Art Classes and workshops help us to maintain our building, but without those classes we are having a difficult time keeping up. 

We want to continue to move forward as a community organization by providing programming that reflects our communities needs such as music and art but we need your help in doing so. 

Unfortunately without your help, important and beneficial programming and events will not continue. Please consider supporting your community and helping us to keep moving forward, so that we can become an important resource to our city. 

Our Story:

The Sunbury Arts Council started in 2014 with the idea that we could engage our community in the arts and connect to other artist and communities by sharing something that fuels our imaginations. Over the years we have started several Artist Festivals, Held many art classes for adults and numerous kids' art camps throughout the summer. We volunteered our time, invited artist to work with us, joined forces with other artist organizations and became a part of something we never imaged would be so needed or so welcomed. The community has made us feel that what we are doing is important and because of that we continue to try to give back as much as we can and push beyond the limits of what others may think is impossible.

This past year has been a big step for our organization, and we are continuing to grow in ways we didn't realize that we needed to, but it feels amazing. This year we hope to implement music and arts education programs for students as young as PreK to high school. We want all children to experience the joy that arts and music education can bring because we know that these programs have no limits on who can benefit from them. We also know that they should be accessible to every child.
