Help Buttons Get The Care He Needs
Donation protected
Buttons came to Adams County Pet Rescue( ACPR), a shelter in Eastern Washington after being found outside in the cold. He was in a wire crate in a yard with a wet towel covering it and he was laying on a wet blanket. A woman was dropping off a friend and heard Buttons squealing so she went to the crate to investigate. She found Buttons with a stump of a leg that hadn't been treated. She was told that the people's dog had chewed Buttons leg off, leaving him with part of a leg.
Buttons was never taken to a vet or treated for his pain and infection. The woman called ACPR and they took him in to get initial veterinary care done. Right now, he'll be in the care of Dr. Zamzow. His fate is unknown but we will do everything we can to get him healed and into Pigs Peace Sanctuary in Stanwood, WA.
He'll need everything from a consult with WSU Veterinary College, medications, radiographs and constant cleaning of the wound. Stall mats are needed to keep him in a clean environment and of course lots of healing energy and love from everyone.
