help buy a memorial headstone

Hi, My name is Barbara. In April of this year, our family experienced the worst nightmare ever. My son and his partner lost their little boy, Jax, after a short illness. One day he was perfectly well the next, suffering seizures and was rushed into children's intensive care, where sadly, he passed away four days later in the arms of his daddy and mummy.

As a family, we are truly devastated.

We waited three months for post-mortem results to be able to have a funeral. Whilst tragic, the funeral celebrated his short and beautiful life; Jax was just 18 months old when he gained his angel wings. His older brother Victor will miss him for eternity, and sadly Jax never got to meet his beautiful baby sister, Athea, born just two months later.

We have tried to hold ourselves up and are getting through one day at a time.

As a parent and grandmother, nothing can ever prepare you for such a loss, and even though you deal with your grief, you want to do the best for the family around you.

I want to try and raise funds to help buy a beautiful headstone befitting  of our little one and any money left over to be given to the family to have a little break away from everyday life. They have been through so much this year. Anything left over after that will be donated to the children's intensive care unit at Leicester Royal Infirmary

I have been able to help in some ways, but I need help to do this for them. Please, would you kindly help?
