Caden #TheLittlestWarrior Overcoming All Obstacles

This is Caden... He was born on May 9th...a healthy beautiful little boy to Vanessa and Alex Gurevich. First time parents, so thrilled to start their new family.  Everything was perfect....except for some little bumpy bruises here and there on Caden's little body. 

A few weeks ago, his mommy and daddy's world was turned upside down.  His blood work came back indicating there was a problem, a big problem.  They knew it was some type of cancer, but it took almost 2 weeks for an exact diagnosis.  On July 17th Caden, just 2 months old, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of  Acute Myeloid Leukmeia along with MLL, another form of a leukemia subgroup, making it an even more complicated case. 

We now call him,  Caden, the littlest warrior.  He is up against the biggest battle for his life.  He literally puts his tiny fists up, like a boxer, getting ready to go in the ring!!! He was immediately hospitalized at Diamond's Children Medical Center in Arizona, and a strict regimen of aggressive chemotherapy started that day.  His mommy could not go back to work and school, as planned after her maternity leave, as a registered  nurse, becoming a nurse practitioner, because her baby needed her near,  hence the insurance dilemma.  They have a long road ahead with a lot of unknowns in the upcoming months and years.   They have to use all their energy to focus on Caden getting well and keeping their family together. 

In such a time of heartbreak and fear, I hope to lessen any financial hardships and worries for them, so I am turning to this "Go Fund Me" opportunity, in hopes to support their monthly bills, medical expenses and lessen their burdens.  For example, one small 4 ounce bottle of immune boosting formula for Caden costs $18...that would be a mind boggling $108 a day...Any little bit can help ease the horrible nightmare that this leukemia diagnosis has brought. 

I am Dyann Sousa, a friend of the family and Caden's self-appointed god mother :).  I too am a leukemia survivor, so Caden and I are super-connected.  I was healed 22 years ago and can't wait for Caden to have that in common with me too!!! Caden's family is such a loving and faith filled family...I know they will be blown away by your outpouring of love and support for their beautiful little boy!
