Help Cafecito Coronado Grow
Donation protected
In September of 2023, Jonathan and I found ourselves in a desperate financial situation. Jon had been on disability for 6 months due to an injury to his thumb. Our truck had been totaled and we were forced to pull a bank loan and get a different vehicle while Jon awaited surgery for his hand and then our landlord raised the rent unexpectedly. We were living off donations and wondering when Jon would be allowed to return to work. This is how Cafecito Coronado was born. Out of a love and passion for artisanal coffee and sheer desperation, we took a 5-year hobby of Jon's and built our small business from scratch. The support has been overwhelming! Since then, our business has grown and evolved in incredible ways! We have met so many amazing small business owners and participated in some incredible farmers markets. We are now on the next step of our journey and are in the works of popping up inside of Goodie Farm's Shop and expanding our business to doing regular pop-ups multiple times a week. But in order to do this, we are in need of some financial assistance yet again. We want to operate our business transparently and above board. This means we will require some more permitting, new equipment, as well as a functional coffee bar to brew within the shop. We decided to reach out to the incredible community who has supported us so much already in order to raise some of the money to get this new project of ours off the ground!
We know many of you have been continuously supporting us by buying our coffee beans and showing up to get a drink at our pop-ups and we want you to know we are so grateful for that! If you are willing and able to donate and share, we so appreciate it but if not, your continued support at our pop-ups is more than enough! Thank you to all our loyal customers, friends, my (Beca's) parents, and our coffee business buddies for all your support and encouragement. We couldn't do this without you all!
