Help Caitlin and Mira Survive

Hi everyone. I am starting this for myself.
This will not only benifit myself but also my almost two year old daughter.

I am fundraising to help us get back into a sense of normal and so we don’t lose everything we have built.

Here is my story:

I am a 21 year old single mom who was diagnosed with Stage Four Rhabdomyosarcoma. It is an extremely rare form of cancer that metabolizes tallish and is hard to treat. I was givin a year and a half to live. no amount of time is worth suffering until you very last day.

My Cancer first surfaced two years ago and i was misdiagnosed an uncountable amount of times.

When I was finally diagnosed it was early December and I had to get treatment right away. I had to go thru chemotherapy every three weeks in the beginning of January, shots and blood work everyday in between and scans ever three months. In between surgery to get my port placed and surgery to get cultures and biopsy I had to leave my work place. I have been working since I was 17 while a full time mom since 2019. It hurt very much. I couldn’t collect, I was denied disability, I tried time and time again to work but kept falling illl and became septic multiple times due to the germs in my work environment. It was also a lot of physical labor that made me fall weak and frail. Luckily, a lot of my treatments were taken care of through my insurance, but at the end of the day I barely made enough to take care of myself and my daughter. Bills are months behind, I haven’t been able to pay my rent in two months this month will be marking the third month. A few weeks ago our only car was involved in a car accident where my entire front bumper is ripped off and smashed and my tire axel is completely dented and as we were getting home And park in the car in the carport, one of the rod snapped and I cannot move it at all. So getting to and from all of my treatments, and a potential food shopping, and any of my daughters appointments has been really bad struggle.

Does your goal has been so difficult that if I’m lucky if I can scrape  up enough money together to buy wipes for my daughter. She is taken care of to the best of my abilities with help from you family members she has what she needs to make by each and every day.

At home we also have one adult cat, one kitten and a puppy we named Thumper.

I still have a very long flight left, and it’s hard for me to reach out and ask for any sort of help. But a lot of things are looking down and I need to maintain the little bit that I have left for my daughter.

I still have more chemotherapy to go through, followed by radiation, and surgery. My cancer was first located in my perianal, which then traveled through all of my pelvic walls into my left pelvis, and unfortunately went into my femur down into my bone marrow where I still have the possibility of having to amputate my leg. On any recent scan we found it is going down but we found another tumor in my left arm, I am praying it does not go into my bone marrow as well.

I have run out of all of my resources, and I’m reaching out to ask for any donations to help. All of the funds are going to go into paying for a lawyer so I can get a will in place for the worst case scenario of my not winning my fight. Any funds that I am able to receive, will also go towards paying my rent so my daughter and I have a roof over our heads, bills well be getting paid so we have running water and electric and food. Any other donations that my daughter and I may have leftover will go strictly to her so she can have clothing that she will fit into, she is always growing and even though she is on the small side she is going through another growth spurt, diapers and wipes, and her birthday and hopefully Christmas. Being a single mother it’s really hard to make sure I can make all ends meet and being sick with such a terrible form of cancer on top of it makes things 100 times worse. Her birthday is November 19 with Christmas following shortly after. Anything is better than nothing and our gratitude will forever be in favor. If you cannot donate, can you please share my story so it reaches a wider audience. Thank you so much.
