Help Caitlyn Gibson Beat Hodgkins Lymphoma

Caitlyn Gibson, age 20, is a 2023 graduate of Chesterfield High School. She has been an avid softball player since she was a little girl, an asset to her Rams team through the years and she loves being outside. She received a scholarship to play softball for the Florence Darlington Stingers right out of HS and had plans to continue her education to be a game warden. Last month, in December of 2024, after a random cold left her with a swollen nodule that wouldn’t go away, tests confirmed she has Hodgkins Lymphoma. She had to leave her softball team and move back to Chesterfield to be with her family. We all know medical costs are not cheap, and neither is gas. Her mom and dad are taking turns taking off work to take her to her chemotherapy treatments an hour away in Florence every two weeks. They have also referred them to MUSC in Charleston to get a second opinion on treatments, which will cost even more. Our family would be most appreciative if you could find in your heart to help with these expenses. But, even if you can’t give, we still implore you to be praying for our precious, beautiful Caitlyn.
