Help Caleb J. Joyner with future college expenses
Hello, my name is Rhoshanda Pyles and I am fundraising on behalf of Tabitha Johnson's close friends and line sisters, for my godson, their nephew, Caleb (Johnson) Joyner. Tabitha was suddenly taken away from all those who loved her on Thursday, April 22, 2021 after contracting COVID 19 after caring for her sister who passed away from COVID-19 not but one month prior. Tabitha was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend who spent the majority of her time caring for others before herself. She dedicated her life to children as evidenced by her commitment to education as a middle and high school English Teacher for over ten years.
As a highly educated woman herself, Tabitha wanted nothing less for son Caleb (Johnson) Joyner when he was born on October 3, 2003. She often shared her goals and aspirations for Caleb which included access to a post secondary education at the school of his choice. Tabitha always expressed her belief in Caleb being able to achieve all of his future goals as long as he could access a quality education beyond high school. Caleb has a love for basketball and his mother always talked to him about the importance of being a student-athlete, stressing "student."
This worldly pandemic has impacted so many of us in a variety of ways. And as a result Caleb will have to transition into a young man with absence of his mother, Tabitha.
We, her closest friends, want to honor Tabitha's request by raising money to mitigate some of Caleb's college expenses as he nears the end of his high school career. Please consider donating to Caleb so that we can fulfill Tabitha's dream of ensuring that her son has access to a post secondary educational institution of his choice.
Thank you for your consideration,
Rhoshanda, Dayle, Melissa, Mimi, Monica, Aletta, Portia, & Jamillah
