Help Calvin Fight Colon Cancer

Calvin is a loving father and friend. His positive and kind soul radiates to all who know him. Truly to know Calvin is to love him. His two girls, Caitlyn and Cristyn, are everything to him. He's always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

In late January, Calvin was having epigastric pain which brought him to the hospital where after multiple tests he got the news that he had a large mass on his colon. Following several scans at Northwestern it was determined that Calvin unexpectedly was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. His cancer had metastasized to his liver, peritoneum, and the lymph nodes into his lungs.

While Calvin continues to have a positive outlook, he needs all our help. With a rigorous treatment schedule he will be unable to work indefinitely. Calvin's family and friends will be accompanying him to and from treatments and will continue to stay by his side to help him heal and fight this horrible battle. Calvin's focus should be entirely on fighting and his recovery not on the financial burdens of life. He has one daughter in college at IU and one daughter in high school at Crown Point. Both his daughters are very active in extracurricular activities. Caitlyn was previously a member of the CP dance team and is now in a sorority at IU. Cristyn is very dedicated to basketball and is on the CP basketball team and a travel league. Anything you can donate to help manage the financial stressors accompanying his battle fighting cancer is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small.
