Help Cambodian Children with Disabilities Get to School!

In May 2024, a group of students from East Tennessee State University (ETSU) traveled to Cambodia to work in schools and train teachers. While there, they noticed the urgent need for transportation from homes to the schools. Inspired by their experiences and the resilience of these children, we are committed to providing the necessary transportation to make their educational dreams come true.
In Cambodia, the simple dream of attending school is out of reach for many children with disabilities. These children, full of potential and eager to learn, face immense challenges every day. Their biggest obstacle? A lack of accessible transportation.
Our Mission
We believe every child deserves the chance to go to school, learn, and build a brighter future. After our return, we set a goal to support Disability Support International and Disability Development Services Program. Through the nonprofit, Advancing Education, we are dedicated to making this dream a reality by providing tuk-tuks to transport children with disabilities to and from school.
Why Tuk-Tuks?
Tuk-tuks are a lifeline in Cambodia. They are an affordable and common mode of transportation, and with your help, they can become the vehicle that drives change for these children. By using tuk-tuks, we can quickly and effectively meet the urgent transportation needs of these children.
Our Goal
We aim to raise $2,300 by August 31st to purchase and maintain tuk-tuks for this cause. This cost will cover one tuk-tuk.
