Help CAMERON Thompson get STEM CELL treatment

Donation protected
Please Help CAMERON Thompson achieve his goals to get medical treatment with 'BioXcellerator' at a facility that specializes in STEM CELL treatment.

I am the organizer... Brenda Payne... Cameron's aunty and leader of the love and support team.

Many people are (blissfully) unaware of the amount of pain and medical complications that come with a spinal cord injury
(I know I was). There is so much pain.

With the help of stem cell treatment... Cameron hopes to experience much less nerve pain, it will give his immune system a much needed boost and possibly even have him regain sensation and movement.

That is HUGE.
Take a moment to just imagine the difference that will make for Cameron... his family and all of us that love him so dearly... improving every day for the rest of his life.
It is is immense and almost unimageable.

Cameron is poised, eager and ready to do the hard work that he needs to do to make the most of this treatment... we just need a little help with the financial part.

It is an expensive treatment that Cameron will have to travel for... and he needs your help to get there and get it done!

Please donate what you can... and share with others.

Thank you so much for your time... sending much gratitude and love to each and every one of you.

Update from Cameron:

On July 4, 2021 I dove into a river severing my spinal cord paralyzing myself from the neck down losing function to the majority of my body with the exception of partial movement of my shoulder and arms.

Lucky to have survived and grateful for the group of friends who saved my life I was airlifted to the Vancouver General Hospital where my new journey was about to begin.

Near the beginning of my injury I was told about stem cells and the benefits they could have to help advance my recovery but the next eight months where the hardest months of my life.

With one health concern after another I spent the majority of my time in Vancouver sick and unable to participate in my rehabilitation, missing out on much of the progress I should've been making and forgetting about the stem cells in the meantime. Physically and mentally unhealthy the decision was made for me to return home and focus on how to increase my health and get myself into the best shape possible.

Unfortunately after arriving home a lot of the health concerns have grown more apparent.
Nerve pain and spasms have worsened while urinary infections and kidney stones have became more frequent. However because of amazing support from family and friends with each passing day my health has become more stable and my strength continues to improve.

Now that I'm healthier than I've ever been since my injury I'm looking back into stem cells.
I've reached out to a consultant for 'BioXcellerator' a facility that specializes in stem cells.
With the help of stem cells nerve pain could be reduced, my immune system can be strengthened and I could even regain sensation and movement.

With treatments being most successful within the first several years.
Treatments would consist of:
-injections of stem cells into my spine every three months
-spanning a time span of one year
-with a total of four injections

I am excited to do the treatments and what that means for my future.
I just need help with the big cost associated with this commitment I want to make.
Go forward with love #TeamCameron

Update from Brenda:

Team Cameron
On July 3 … a sunny normal fun Saturday with friends… Cameron Thompson was in a tragic swimming accident in the Puntledge River. The injuries to his spinal cord are extensive, leaving Cameron paralyzed with a long road of healing ahead of him.

I would like to thank the group of Cameron’s friends for their propensity to beat the fear of a very scary situation to save Cameron’s life. We are all eternally grateful that Cameron is alive.

Cameron is a strong young man… with love surrounding him … he will make the very best of the job of healing ahead of him.
You only have to meet Cameron to love Cameron… his personality is equal parts deep soul love and full on cheeky!
We are putting together a fundraiser to help Cameron get set up for the task of healing.

Cameron’s Mother Christina is by his side in Vancouver… and will be there for as long as he needs her. Cameron’s brother Brennan and his Grandfather are holding down the fort in Gold River. This is such a complicated and stressful time for this family.

Right now the healing and the expenses can feel overwhelming … there is equipment and renovations to look into… but I know
with the love and support of community we can help this family move forward.

We have set up a bank account to hold the funds in trust for Cameron and his family to use to ease the burden and lighten the load of what comes next.

You can donate by sending an email transfer to Team Cameron:
Your donations are so much appreciated… and sharing the love will boost Cameron and his healing.
Thank You and Welcome to
