Help Cana afford a service dog

Donation protected
Cana Whitney is a senior at Ottawa high school. She was president of multiple clubs and was a light to her school. she volunteered on mission trips and at local animal shelters, and is always willing to help. She’s always had the goal of wrestling in college and being an athletic psychologist.
In November 2021, Cana suffered a severe concussion leading to the end of her sophomore season. All was well the next year, but then November 2023 she suffered severe non-epileptic seizures. after being admitted to children’s Mercy Hospital, Cana was diagnosed with functional neurological disorder caused from a brain injury.
Cana had to drop out of her senior year and ended her wrestling season on a bad note. At times she is nonverbal, has paralysis, and is in constant pain. She is in multiple types of therapy and medical bills keep racking up.
She wants to continue her goal of going to college, but is in need of a service animal to help Cana cope with the stress of college, seizures, and assist in many other ways.  Cana will be redshirted at Doane University in Nebraska. She still gets to have her dream of being on a college wrestling team, even if she doesn’t get to wrestle.
The donations will go towards the service animal fees, which is up to $25,000 and help with the medical fees.
Anything you can donate will help. Please keep cana and her family in your prayers.
