Hello, my name is Candace Brake. I have been diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in my right hip. The ball joint in my right hip has completely deteriorated; therefore, leaving my lower right extremities immobile without the use of a walker. I suffer from chronic, severe pain, as the result. I have been approved by the State of Texas Vocational Rehabilitation program, which will pay for the operation for a total hip replacement, physical therapy post surgery and post surgery meds. Meanwhile, there will be many doctors, specialists, dentists appointments because I must receive a clean bill of health in order to receive the hardware for the total hip replacement. I do not have health insurance because I was terminated by my former employer when I became disabled in July 2021. I am not eligible for Medicaid. I am not eligible for Disability. Medical bills need to be paid since July 2021, for doctors and three emergency room visits. I am penniless because I am unable to work due to the nature of my disability. I cannot sit upright, stand erect, walk for any considerable length of time. I am reaching out to my friends, family and loved ones at this time for help to pay my medical bills that are due at this time and future medical bills.
