Help Capt David McBrayer on his Path to Recovery

On the morning of June 11th, 2023, Captain David McBrayer was involved in a serious head-on collision in Snellville, GA, while on his way home from working a shift at the DeKalb County Fire Department. Another vehicle crossed the centerline on a two-lane road striking David's SUV head-on and causing it to roll into a ditch and roof-first into a telephone pole. As a result of the accident, David sustained a concussion and cervical spinal injury requiring immediate surgery, and leaving him with limited use of his arms and no feeling from his chest down. It's a blessing that he is still with us, but the doctor's have given David a 50% chance to walk again. His road to recovery will be lengthy and costly involving intensive physical therapy, round the clock care, and requiring resources beyond his and his family's means. It has become apparent that the other motorist was underinsured to cover the severity of David's life-altering injuries. We are extremely thankful for any contribution given for David, and are also requesting continued prayers for a miraculous recovery.
