Help Capt. Mathis get back to the life he loved!

Donation protected
Retired Vietnam Army Vet(Captain) and retired CMPD Capt. Earl Mathis recently suffered a stroke that has caused paralysis in his left side. He is currently still in the care of a hospital, but needs to get back to his wonderful home. Our current need is to put a front and back ramp on his house so he can come home. Thankfully we have gotten help with both but there are many uncovered expenses. Eventually his downstairs dining area and half bath will need to be converted to a wheelchair accessible bedroom and full bath. Until he gets further down the road of rehabilitation he will need food provided or funds to have food delivered. (There will be restriction on what he can eat for a little while.)We would also like to cover anything out of pocket for home nurse care as well as any rehabilitation facility care. He has a new journey ahead of him but all of us who know and love him are excited to see him take this challenge and make it look easy. Capt. Mathis and his daughter, Elizabeth, are so thankful to everyone who has helped and offered future help. They ask for continued prayers. ❤️❤️❤️
