Help Cara Corder Recover from a Tragic Hit-and-Run
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Community,
Early on the morning of Saturday, October 26th, our dear friend and Milwaukee treasure, Cara Corder, was the victim of a tragic hit-and-run. While crossing Kinnickinnic Avenue, two cars, recklessly racing, struck Cara, causing serious injuries. Both vehicles fled the scene.
Cara now faces a difficult road to recovery, with medical expenses and time away from her art and work adding financial strain. She has to get better because it's Cara, and our community wouldn't be the same without her, but she needs our support to cover her hospital bills, rehabilitation costs, and essential living expenses as she works to heal.
We’re reaching out to you—Cara’s friends, family, and community—to ask for any help you can offer. Whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping Cara in your thoughts, every bit of support makes a difference.
All donations will be received by Cara’s mother, Donna, for Cara’s care. Due to Cara’s condition and inability to cover bills and medical expenses during this time, Donna will use these funds on Cara’s behalf to cover essential expenses, including rent, phone, utilities, and the extensive medical and hospital costs she’s facing.
Please join us in helping Cara get back on her feet and back to pursuing her passions. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly challenging time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Cara's Friends
