Help Cara with her daughter, Alissa's Funeral
Donation protected
Alissa Bunnell, a wonderful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend to all who knew her, was tragically taken, far too soon in a car accident, on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, not far from the town she so lovingly was born and raised, West Branch, Michigan. Alissa was the loving daughter of Cara (Surline) Bunnell and Patrick Bunnell and sister to Kendra, who is currently living in Germany.
Alissa had many unfulfilled dreams and aspirations and was bound & determined to achieve each of them, some which were just about to become a reality as she was weeks away from her graduation from Saginaw Valley State University with a degree in Health Sciences and was recently hired by Mid-Michigan Urgent Care in Gladwin, Michigan. She was looking forward to being a part of the health community to be able to continue caring for others as she has been an amazing & dependable caregiver of her mom, who has battled Multiple Sclerosis since early adulthood. Cara is paralyzed and wheelchair bound and requires extensive care and Alissa was always there for her mom.
Alissa was free-spirited and had an extreme zest for life. She loved her boyfriend, Riley Grove, and their two dogs, Brantley and Dozer, who were both survivors in the accident. She really enjoyed “hanging out with her friends” while making Tik Tok videos, attending country music concerts and going mud bogging.
Through these gracious contributions, the family will be able to give Alissa a peaceful resting place.
Alissa will be so greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Please extend your warm thoughts and continued prayers as the family grieves this incredible loss.
