Help Carissa through ACL surgery

Hi everyone, we (Carissa’s friends) have decided to start a GoFundMe page for Carissa to aid her in her ongoing medical expenses. Carissa recently had an accident at training in where she tore her ACL and damaged her MCL and LCL. 

Carissa has surgery booked for the 29th June, where she will have her ACL reconstruction by making a new ACL out of Carissa's hamstring and grafting it onto her bone, which is a very extensive surgery. Following surgery she will be in a splint for 3 weeks and will need ongoing rehabilitation for her ACL, MCL and LCL.  Carissa will be unable to return to work or drive for 5-6 weeks. Carissa lives alone with her dog Snow, so during this time she will need lots of support.

The money raised for Carissa will go towards her excess for surgery which is $750, her ongoing rehab and rent/living allowances as she is unable to work for some time.

Carissa is always there to support her friends in times of need with care packages, grazing boards and anything she can do to help, so let’s support her in her time of need.

As you can imagine, this has taken quite the physical, mental and financial toll to Carissa already. Even post surgery it will be a long road of rehabilitation before we can see back in the ring doing what she loves. Let’s all gather around her and give her the support she needs through this difficult time, any contribution and support would be greatly appreciated.
