Dear family,

I’m reaching out to ask for your help and support for my brother, Carl Emile Bezout, who is facing a medical emergency and urgently needs surgery. Earlier this year, he sustained serious vertebrae damage in his neck, which has caused severe nerve damage affecting his right shoulder, arm, and hand. Despite medications and physiotherapy, his condition has not improved, and the pain, numbness, and loss of mobility remain unchanged.

Being right-handed, this injury has drastically affected his daily life—making simple tasks like cooking, writing, brushing his teeth, and getting dressed incredibly challenging. Pain medications provide minimal relief, and he is determined to avoid becoming dependent on them. He has also tried alternative treatments such as acupuncture and physiotherapy, but the relief they provide is only temporary.

Despite these challenges, he continues to teach English to kindergarten students in Vietnam. However, he has had to reduce his teaching schedule due to the pain and limitations, and the upcoming surgery and recovery period will most likely prevent him from working at all for some time.

This is where we, as a family, can step in and make a difference. By coming together, we can help cover his medical and living expenses so he can focus on healing without the added burden of financial stress.
