Help Carl Meunier Fight Pancreatic Cancer

Hi my name is Tasha Meunier-Brunet and I started this page to help my amazing father Carl Meunier battle primary small cell carcinoma of the pancreas (SCCP). It is a rare malignancy with an extremely poor prognosis which accounts for 1 to 1.4 percent of all pancreatic malignancies. Unfortunately we were given news that he only has weeks to survive. Despite this, he is so incredibly strong. He is a born again Christian and is holding on to the hope of healing. We are hoping to raise funds for medical expenses and any final expenses we may need to prepare for. Carl has had an amazing life filled with love and hard work. When he was in his early 20’s he was a volunteer fire fighter in Cumberland RI and helped save many lives. He was an all star softball player for many years playing outfield, shortstop and was an amazing hitter. As an avid outdoorsman he has a passion for fishing. He's a father of five children and grandfather of 5. My dad was such a hard worker. My dad was a great provider, my siblings and I always had everything we needed. He would give you the shirt off of his back even now when going through such a hard time. All he wants is to be able to have a little more time with his family. As a child, he overcame a deformity in his arm due to being a preemie and never let it hold him back. The opportunities to make his dreams and goals were difficult but he made the best of it. He's always been a kind gentle soul and loved his family and friends well.
