Help Caro & Chiquito find Housing&Stability

Hello Community, I am writing to you all today to let you know about my amazing amiga Caro. She is a cancer survivor and a self-employed Chicana small business owner who always praises the people around her. Mother of an elderly Mini Poodle, Chiquito, who suffers from cataracts and will soon require surgery that costs thousands of dollars, some hard times have fallen upon her. Recently Caro's landlord inspected her home, reassuring her that she still had a year to live there, only to change his mind and sell it right underneath her a few weeks later. Caro's landlord lied to her and has given her a move-out date of Early October, leaving her and her housemates houseless and heartbroken.

Caro does so much to help out the community in more ways than one. She runs her own small business, constantly creating beautiful, elegant alternative goth jewelry, which in turn has helped her raise funds to donate to others struggling. She has organized various community events bringing together musicians/DJ , Drag performers and local vendors to create a diverse and entertaining atmosphere for us all. In addition, she is also a resident DJ for Global Based: Quiero Cumbia events and is always uplifting other community events/members. She always supports other event organizers and helps find local talent and vendors to uplift within the community. Caro is the most compassionate, supportive, and loving friends that I have, and it breaks my heart to hear all the struggles she has had to endure.
