Help Caroline Fix Her Car and get Back to Work!

Hi everyone! My name is Caroline, some of you may also know me as Ophelia/Ophie. Let me thank you in advance for coming to read about my fundraiser.
I am asking for donations to help me avoid having to declare bankruptcy at only 25 years old. Currently, I am on disability due to a knee injury I sustained that ended in surgery. I’ve gotten to the point in my recovery where I can return to work doing light duty, however, I have hit several roadblocks that now make this impossible.
I received surgery on my knee on August 31st, 2021. My disability claim was received the same day. Today, as of writing this (November 27th, 2021), I am STILL waiting on my disability payments and have been declined for benefits once already despite having all the correct paperwork in and being 100% eligible. Because of the delay in my payments, I have had to use my entire savings to pay my medical bills and surgery bills, student loans, insurances, and other bills. Right after losing my savings, my car overheated, and now it no longer works. I need a new engine, which is going to be about $2,400. I can’t afford that, because without a car, I cannot get to work and receive a paycheck. On top of all this, the earliest my car can be fixed is by the beginning of next year, and I do not have enough money to keep paying my bills until then, and my disability benefits will be expiring on December 28th of this year.
