Help Caroline Ward Kick Cancer!
Donation protected
My 28 year old daughter, Caroline, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer on August 4th, 2018….56 days before her September 29th wedding. She is still planning on having that wedding! Caroline is a wildlife biologist that lives and works in the state of Wisconsin alongside her sweetheart Ben Olsen, also a wildlife biologist. Ben recently rushed Caroline to a hospital in Green Bay for emergency surgery to relieve what she thought was a severe bowel obstruction. That’s when doctors discovered a large malignant tumor on her left ovary and uterus. Due to the difficulties associated with cancer treatment, we wanted Caroline to be at a cancer center in Atlanta, Georgia, close to our home. Caroline also wanted to go through this with Ben as her husband; so she and Ben rush married at the hospital in Green Bay and made arrangements to start treatment as quickly as possible. As luck would have it, Ben recently started a new job and needs to stay in Wisconsin. He will be doing a lot of traveling back and forth from Green Bay to Atlanta to be with Caroline during her treatments. In order to beat her cancer, Caroline will start with chemotherapy, undergo another surgery then finish with more chemotherapy. Your donations will help fund the treatment costs, travel for Ben, and the post-treatment costs of monitoring and transitioning to life after cancer. Thank you for your love and prayers, and with your help, we will beat this.
