Help Carolyn Heal After Devastating Accident

Please consider donating to help Carolyn Fair Simpson, an only child helping to care for her elderly mother. Carolyn was involved in a very devastating accident on Thursday, September 12, 2024 when a propane tank caused an explosion inside of her vehicle as she was leaving to go care for her mother.

Carolyn was initially taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital’s emergency room where she was intubated. During her transport to Greenville she was given a paralyzing medication instead of the pain medication ordered by the doctor further complicating her prognosis. The decision was made to transfer her to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, GA for 2nd degree burns sustained to her face and upper extremities. She was taken to surgery Friday, September 13th with the plastic surgery reconstructive team and general surgery provider to further evaluate her burns, clean them and start the reconstructive process.

Anything you can give will help alleviate the financial burden that Carolyn will incur. The donations given will assist with food, gas, and lodging for her daughter Tasha who will have to take time away from work to care for her, bills incurred as a result of this devastating accident, and travel back and forth to future appointments.
