Help Carrie and Bradley
Donation protected
I've watched for years as Carrie and Bradley have struggled to make their desire for a family become a reality. I have seen their hopes repeatedly dashed after pouring their all into what seemed like a sure intervention to success. There have been so many new drugs, hormones, procedures, etc., without the result they have prayed for.
Carrie was diagnosed with PCOS. Unfortunately, this can make conceiving a baby very difficult for some and almost impossible for others. While doctors have assured them that many ladies with much more difficult diagnoses have gone on to have healthy babies, it is disheartening to keep having their hopes dashed over and over again.
Last spring Carrie did conceive after having yet another procedure. It was heartbreaking when early in her pregnancy, she miscarried their precious "Little Love." At that time, their doctor recommended going to the next level of intervention. So here they are, beginning the process of IVF. The cost is tremendous, especially when neither of their employers offers insurance plans to assist with these expenses. Almost $20,000 has already been paid in out-of-pocket costs, but much more is needed to cover just the necessary medications.
It isn't easy to come to you for help, but stopping at this point seems like giving up hope on the dream of a family that could be just around the bend. I know not everyone is in a place where they can help financially, but if you can give (even a little), please prayerfully consider doing so. If you can't give at this time, will you please pray for Carrie and Bradley? This has been a long rough road paved with abundant tears, but we believe.
I'll close with the lyrics of a song Carrie had printed on a shirt. "So many things about tomorrow, I don't seem to understand, But I know Who holds tomorrow, and I know Who holds my hand."
