Help Carter get the medical care he needs

Dear family, friends, and kind souls - my name is Brittany and I am asking for help in assisting 8 year old Carter and his medical care associated with his severe chronic medical condition, specifically his feeding tube.

Carter suffers from a rare genetic disorder, Russell Silver Syndrome, which causes extreme feeding difficulties and challenges gaining and maintaining weight, amongst other possibly severe complications. In addition to countless Dr. Appointments and ongoing medical care by his speciality team, Carter has a feeding tube and receives formula feeds daily. The costs of Carter’s feeding supplies and specialty formula are extremely high and critical to his survival, and insurance has denied paying these costs. As well, this year Carter has had numerous setbacks with his health causing drops in his weight, which is now dangerously low.
