Help Caryn McCollum Heal: Medical Bills Relief

I'm Jennifer and I'm here to tell you about my best friend. Caryn McCollum is a wonderful mother of six children and founder of OBAH - Operation Bring Animals Home

On Wednesday, at 47 years old, Caryn suffered a severe anterior and inferior wall heart attack and we were very close to losing her.

She was home alone with Emma( her 7 yr old) when the heart attack began.

She called 911 where she was rushed to OMH- she went in for an emergency heart cath where they placed 4 stents in the LAD artery also commonly known as the “widow maker.”

She had 100% blockage in 2 arteries and partial in the 3rd. The LAD 100% blockage just happened when the heart attack began.

The cardiologist planned to prep her for emergency bypass surgery but said she would not survive the time it took to prepare the OR.

Following the cath- she was transported to another hospital and admitted into the ICU with a IABP- a balloon pump that helps your heart pump more blood.

She will require a triple bypass surgery.

She had JUST returned from her animal rescue trip from Hurricane Milton 4 days earlier.

Throughout the years, she has helped so many animals and now it’s our time to give back to her.

She’s got a really long road ahead with restrictions.

This money will go towards medical bills and help around Two Cattle Ranch Sanctuary during her recovery.
