Help Casey Battle Cancer

In December 2020, our friend Casey began to feel sick. Casey and Kim didn’t think much of it, but over the course of the following weeks and months, Casey’s condition began to worsen.

In early 2021, Casey was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. Over the past year, Casey has had numerous chemo and radiation cycles. Despite access to some of the best doctors and treatments in the world, Casey's condition has progressed.

Cancer is now impacting other parts of his body, requiring interventions from cardiologists and ENTs. Needless to say, the experience has been emotionally and physically traumatic for Casey and devastating for his family.

If you know my Casey, you know that he is not the kind of person that would burden others with his issues. He rarely complains. He navigates this world with an incredible sense of joy and humor and is not one to ask for help.

And while Casey is determined, optimistic, and continuing to fight, his medical needs have increased and have taken a significant financial toll on his family. No amount of emergency planning can prepare a family for a prolonged battle with cancer.

The McNamara family is filled with humble gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from some many friends and loved ones. The messages and words of hope lift their spirits, providing hope and light. Now more than ever, the need to focus on battling cancer, spending time together and living life to the fullest.

Unfortunately, Casey and his family are in dire need of financial support to help pay for treatment, cover other medical costs and make ends meet. We’ve created this fundraiser to support Casey and his family both emotionally and financially as he battles the next phase of his cancer. A battle we know he will win!
