Help Casey get his life back

Hi, my name is Savannah Crafton, and I have started this fundraiser for a family member who has sustained major injuries after a car accident coming out of Waha on March 8th.

On this evening Casey came out of Waha (where he has been caring for his grandmother) and swerved to miss a deer which caused his truck to roll down a ravine. Casey sustained 6 broken ribs, a double pneumothorax (2 punctured lungs), 2 broken vertebrae in his neck and 3 in his thoracic spine. His T5 vertebrae was totally burst in the accident. Miraculously Casey was able to walk up the embankment (whether it be adrenaline or the grace of God) where he happened to be found by a passerby who called an ambulance; saving his life.

Our whole family is beyond thankful for Casey making out of his vehicle and through a major spinal fusion surgery, and now we are ready to get him help transitioning into the life he will now know. While our precious miracle has maintained both his life and ability to walk doctors are estimating that he will be looking at serious recovery over the next 6 months. We are unsure at this point when he will be able to get back to working or start his dreams of starting EMT schooling which he was hoping to pursue when the accident happen.

We ask for prayers, support, and any donations to help Casey continue to get medical and rehabilitative care in addition to being able to have financial safety so he can focus on getting back to his hilarious, hardworking, positive, and almost comically sweet self.
