Help Casey Recover After Surgery

Looking for a little help for someone who would never ask herself but, as life sometimes does, gave her a situation that will be very difficult for her family!

Hello, I am Clair. I am the older sister to an amazing woman named Casey! Casey is always thinking of others, helping out all the time and will always give the shirt off her back for anyone in need. Casey now needs some help.

Recently after noticing weakness in her arm she went to the doctor to find the issue would require surgery. First the approach was to go thru her elbow to move the nerve. This surgery occurred right before the holidays and required her to miss two months of work. Though there was struggle, they made it! This family of 7 on one income and with most of their savings, they made it. After going to a follow up appointment just last week it was now found that she will need surgery on her neck. This will require an additional 3 months of recovery and with the savings really low from prior it will be quite difficult to make it on the one income.She and all of us were shocked when she said “I have to have surgery to put a fake disc in on Friday.” For this surgery they will cut through front of neck, move her trachea, esphogus and then go through the process of removing and putting in this artificial disc.

With being out of work and having 5 kids, it will be more of a struggle financially having just survived the two months out of work.

I wish I could do more for her! She truly deserves help vs tackling this on her own.
