Help Casie Kick Cancer's butt!

Friends, family, fans, & jamily, we desperately need your help. In early August 2022, Casie, Coty's wife, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer, Metastatic low-grade serous carcinoma, to be exact.
This diagnosis came after months of symptoms that were ignored by the insurance company telling her further scans weren't necessary, which unfortunately allowed the cancer to spread to her intestines, colon, abdominal wall, ovaries and uterus, stomach, diaphragm, liver, lungs. All over.
This diagnosis has been extremely challenging for their entire family, including Casie's 13-year-old daughter, Brooke. These challenges have ranged from the physical toll chemotherapy is taking on Casie to the financial hit from the insurance company continuing to deny coverage of the $55,000 surgery and hospital stay that discovered Casie's cancer, somehow deeming it "unnecessary."
Please share this in your communities and consider donating what you can to help this kind, caring, amazing family in their most significant time of need.
Below is a summary of the situation in Casie's own words. Thank you doesn't begin to describe our gratitude for your time and donations!
Diagnosis: Metastatic low grade serous carcinoma Stage 4
I began going to the doctor in February, after being out of work and dealing with all of the flood and house situation of 2021. Though I was feeling bad with terrible menstrual cycles for months, I wasn’t able to go at that time due to not having insurance. Once I started going to the doctor she began treating me for fibroids and anemia. Beginning in May I was unable to really eat anything and from February to June I lost 60 pounds. Though I went to the doctor almost once a month being treated for other nondescript symptoms, the insurance that I have would deny scans like MRIs or CT‘s, and would only approve sonograms. Over the course of three months I had three sonograms where they found a mass on my right pelvic abdominal region that grew from 5 cm to over 9 cm in three weeks.
The last sonogram that I had was July 29th, where they discovered I had a lot of fluid on my abdomen. I got a call from my doctor Saturday morning, July 30th, and I was told to go to the emergency room and get tests run and that the next time my doctor would see me would be for aftercare once chemo started, and she was fairly certain it was cancer. I spent four days in the emergency room and being admitted into the hospital. My surgery was scheduled for August 4 where they were going to do an exploratory surgery and a full hysterectomy. When they began the surgery they discovered I not only had the mass in my lower abdomen but also it had metastasized to most other organs in my abdomen. Including my intestines, colon, abdominal wall, ovaries and uterus, stomach, diaphragm, liver, lungs. All over. It was not possible for them to perform the hysterectomy that they had planned on performing. So a biopsy was taken and I was closed back up. They then confirmed through pathology that my CA–125 tumor marker level was elevated to 2200.
The plan for treatment has been six rounds of chemo but no discussion of another surgery yet. That will come if there is progress with the tumors and the chemo has a good effect.
After spending nine days in the hospital, Coty spent every night with me, I finally had my first round of chemo, and was discharged to go home finally! Only 5 days before Brookes first day of 8th grade. I tried to keep as calm as I could when talking to her about everything. I told her that if she wanted to freak out she could, but I wasn’t going to until I had a reason to be scared or upset. She seemed to be fairly calm and more inquisitive after that and I believe in sharing with her everything and not hiding too terribly much from her.
So far I have completed four rounds of chemo. With two more to go tumor marker level has gone down to 582. Which shows good progress from the pathology side, after my latest CT scan there hasn’t been any shrinkage of my tumors, but there are Still signs of progress. After the sixth round we will see if more is needed after another CT to track progress.
Also, as of now, we have appealed the surgery denial 2 times. They are still not paying the almost 55k hospital bills or coinciding doctor and staffing bills for that surgery and recovery.
