Casper is a young and happy ferret and has been Ethan's life saver during these crazy times of isolation.
Casper fell ill and ended up with 15 bladder stones that had to be removed with surgery.
His parent, Ethan, is in the same situation as a lot of people right now! Due to the Covid-19 lock-down he can not work and is waiting for his unemployment compensation that was filed last March.
Casper was first misdiagnosed by the vet with a "bacterial infection". It took two urinalysis tests and the incorrect medication before they discovered TWO MONTHS LATER that it was actually bladder stones. All the while, poor Casper was not doing so well.
The bladder stone removal would cost Ethan an additional 1700.00 in surgery expenses.
Casper had the surgery and is doing great!
Ethan is out $670.00for the incorrect diagnosis tests & meds costs as well as $1700.00 for the surgery. The additional $30.00 would help cover gofundme fees.
