Help Cassandra get her liver transplant
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My good friends, Laura and Bryan, need your help. Their little girl, Cassandra, needs a liver transplant. She is currently undergoing chemo at CHOP but need to travel for the transplant. When you are in the hospital with your child who is fighting for their life the last thing you should worry about is money. They need help for bills, expenses, lodging, travel, food, etc. Please read their story in Laura’s words:
One of the most difficult things a parent could possibly hear is " your child has cancer". After five rounds of chemo to learn, she needs a liver transplant is impossible to wrap your head around. Our daughter started receiving chemotherapy at Nemours. We transferred her care to CHOP. We got the news last week that they are unable to give her a transplant. So we started contacting other hospitals. Pittsburgh is very interested and believe they can help. We are traveling there first, then we may head to Boston and even Texas. We would go to the ends of the Earth to save her life. But the unexpected expenses are going to be astronomical. Our friends and family know that we are private people. However, at this time we realize we need help. Cassandra just turned three and she has so much more life to live.
Please donate if you can, post and share. Thank you!
