Help Cassie Get a Stellate Ganglion Block

Hi, my name is Cassie. I got COVID in early March of 2021 and lost my ability to smell, just like many others. However, after I recovered and my senses came back - they came back horribly wrong! When this happens, it's called Parosmia which means your smell and taste become distorted. Almost every food that you could put in front of me now tastes and smells literally like old motor oil, ammonia, moldy, or completely rancid - imagine you crack open the lid to a dumpster filled with trash that's been heated up by the sun outside for days on end so it gets really rotten in there, and to top it off an animal died in it too - that's how things taste and smell like to me now. It's sickening. Going out to restaurants makes me physically sick to my stomach. Going outdoors, which should smell like the refreshing scent of nature, smells to me like I'm surrounded by decaying animals and chemicals. Toothpaste tastes like exactly how old motor oil smells and makes me gag. Every day is torture now. It impacts every area of my life. I have to turn down invitations to eat with family and friends, and I avoid holiday gatherings, because food is always a big component. It is so lonely having this condition. Things taste so bad now that I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference between something that is rotten or fresh. Sometimes I ask others if they would taste my food or drinks for me because I want to be sure it's still safe.

There is a treatment available for this debilitating condition! David Gaskin out of Bryan Texas is performing a procedure called a Stellate Ganglion Block where he is reporting a very high percentage of people with parosmia (like me!) cured after receiving it. Cured! He is performing the procedure with ultrasound, which is more precise than x-ray which other clinics in the country use instead, and could explain why he is seeing the best results for his patients recovering.
