Help Cassie get back on her feet (literally)

Hi, my name is Jess and I’m starting a fundraiser for my sister. Back in December, Cassandra went to the doctor because she was having very bad pains in her leg and foot. The drs sent her home with what they thought was water on the knee. The medicine wasn’t working, so she decided to go to the hospital and have a second opinion. Turns out, it was not water in the knee and she ended up needed a blood transfusion among many other things. The pain then traveled to her whole left side, and she spent the holidays in the hospital ALL ALONE (due to the hospital being code red bc of COVID) with a very bad infectious disease (which they are still trying to diagnose). She is finally home, with her 6 year old son, but out of work due to not being able to stand on her own or use her left arm. Us parents know how much work it is being home with a child all day, but add using a walker in there, with one working arm, and a bunch of dr appointments that she has to attend. On top of all the bills she has already, add in the medical bills, co pays, physical therapy appointments, orthopedic appointments and infectious disease appointments without being able to go back to work or stand on her own. She has 4 grand in physical therapy appointments alone. With all of this going on, my sister has been so hopeful and kept such a positive attitude throughout the whole time. I’m asking for help for an amazing young mother and someone who would give the shirt off her back to anybody in need. I look up to you Cassandra, you are doing an amazing job. We all love you
