Help Caston and his family

My coworker who is one of the sweetest people I have met recently found out that her youngest son Caston has a tumor that is located between his spine and his heart. They are currently in dallas seeking answers and medical treatment. My husband and I feel awful and want to try and help this amazing family. They have placed on many many prayer chains but we know financially it's going to be hard. Below I have msgs from Emily (mom). Please help anyway if you can to take the stress off this family as they battle Caston's tumor.
Messages from Emily updating everyone on Caston.
The curve in Caston’s back has stayed the same so they wanna do a CT scan to see what is causing his back to have curve. they see a gap between his ribs so they wanna check It out to see if that’s the cause. Pray everything comes back good!
Update: We didn’t get good news at all!
He ended up having a tumor that will require chemo! We will know more tomorrow when we see his doctor at Childrens.
Pray for my baby!
we will be doing the biopsy tomorrow to see where we go from here. It’s on his spine and large so it’s not something surgery can remove chemo is the only option.
They found out today it’s the size of a baseball pushed up against he heart and lungs and Thursday he has to do a contrast cat scan on Tuesday and Wednesday he will be doing a bone marrow graph and another big test that will see if the cancer has spread all over or if it’s just in the tumor and will be do surgery through his back to move over his lung and get a piece of the tumor. They said since it’s behind his heart is right on the main artery and if they did surgery it could paralyze him. They also found another spot on the first CT scan they are concerned about like another spot growing or if it’s the same on just floating upwards. Within 2 weeks they will have his port placed in his chest and that’s were they will start the chemo treatments. It’s going to be a long road and he won’t be able to come back to school once they start treatments he can’t be exposed to any germs.
