Help Cat Lindo Shine in NYC Performance

My name is Ana Lindo, and as a single mom and immigrant, I'm reaching out to seek support for my daughter, Cat Lindo, an 18-year-old talented musician from Brazil. Music has been her passion since childhood, and I'm committed to helping her pursue her dreams.

In Brazil, she took vocal and piano lessons and performed as Chip in the musical "The Beauty and the Beast." Since moving to the USA in 2018, she has been part of The Sunsetters, a street music troupe supported by the city of Somerville. Three years ago, she became the lead vocalist of the trio Cosmica, alongside Kevin O'Connor on guitar and Seth Itzkan on bass. She's also been expanding her musical skills by learning guitar, bass, and drums, and jamming with her high school friends, performing at high school festivals. She has already recorded three original songs at the Suitcase Studio in Somerville, MA.

although it's not a paid gig. We're seeking funds to cover her round trip travel from Boston to New York, as well as some money for food expenses. As her mother, I'll be volunteering, driving, and filming the gig. Additionally, Cat is supporting the cause of Soil 4 Climate by performing the song "Brand New Sky." Soil 4 Climate is an organization led by Cosmica's bassist, Seth Itzkan, who will be speaking at the conference.

I want to ensure that my daughter receives the necessary support for this event. She has been dedicating herself to rehearsing with Cosmica multiple times a week. As a high school senior preparing to join college during the summer, she is working extremely hard to achieve her goals.
