Help Catsby get Femoral Head Ostectomy Surgery

Donation protected
I’m starting a fundraiser for my kitty, Catsby. He was recently diagnosed with Legg-Perthes disease. Legg-Perthes disease is when the femoral head lacks proper blood flow which in turn causes the femoral head to die at an early age. I was unaware of his condition until 3 days ago when he broke his hip and I had to rush him to the emergency vet. The surgery alone is at least $2,000 and that doesn’t include the hundreds I’ve already spent and the hundreds more I will most likely have to spend on follow up care. Im trying everything in my power to heal him in the mean time. All I can do right now is keep him crated and medicated.

I really wanted to try to do it on my own, but it’s day 3 and I already have to take him back to the vet because he can’t stand to drink, eat or go to the bathroom. I never expected to have to deal with such a serious health issue so early in his life(he’s not even 2 yet ☹️) so I wasn’t prepared to spend thousands on a surgery. I have two jobs but it’s hard to work doubles when I have a cat at home who needs me to squirt water in his mouth and needs to be hand fed and medicated 3 times a day.

Although i really hate the idea of asking for help online, it’s gut-wrenching seeing him in so much pain and I need to do anything I can to end his suffering.

Thank you in advance to anyone who is able to help
