Help Caubang, Pintuyan, Southern Leyte

Hi, my name is Michelle and I'm fundraising to help my family and the community of Caubang Pintuyan, Southern Leyte, Philippines.

Recently there was a Typhoon (Odette) and my mom's family and community lost everything. Houses were torn apart, belongings, boats (what they use to make a living) and streets completely destroyed or blocked by fallen trees and houses, leaving the people with no food or shelter. The storm took out the electricity and Wi-Fi and only recently we were able to get ahold of my family when they went to the mountains.

When Covid first started my mother was able to help the community by sending food and money so no one would go hungry from the food shortage. This time, we are asking for help to raise money to rebuild houses and give food so that they can rebuild their lives again.

We are hoping to raise enough money so we can send "Balikbayan" boxes (Boxes full of clothes, basic hygiene items, canned foods) and also help to sponsor getting houses rebuilt.

Our family has gone through so much recently through this time, any amount or help would be greatly appreciated!

Donated Gently used clothing of all ages would be appreciated so we can start putting the boxes together also.
