Help CCS OM team go to the Worlds Competition

Tax deductible
Odyssey of the Mind (OM) has a special place within the history of CCS. This program has allowed students to blend their creative abilities in problem resolution, artistic expression, engineering tinkering, and more !!! Teams compete starting with regionals, then to state and ultimately to the world tournaments should they place high enough in each tournament.

This year in-person competitions have returned, making this a fascinating year with the pandemic eliminating any in-person tournaments for the past two years. CCS has one team that has placed 1st in both the regional and the state tournament and is looking to compete in the World’s tournament held at Iowa State University on May 25th - May 28th. This group of seven 4th grade girls has overcome the limitations brought about by the pandemic and the challenges of balancing academics with the time requirements needed to prepare themselves for the tournaments. The team started as an inexperienced group of individuals to a group of individuals who have found their voice, talents, and abilities through teamwork and resilience.

Now facing the culmination of all their hard work, the opportunity of going to the World’s in Iowa and competing against other teams is an endeavor that they are asking for others to help support them. Please donate to help each team member get to Iowa for the World’s competition on May 25th. The total cost for each team member to go is $2800.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause, which means so much to the team!
