Help Celebrate Laura's Life and Legacy

Hello Fam, If you don't already know, on January 3, 2024 we unexpectedly lost a very important puzzle piece to our family, Mrs. Laura Marie Dollahite (Donville). An amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, GiGi and friend whose absence we deeply and greatly miss all the time. It has been a whirlwind to try to create this new life without her in it, which we never would have asked for.

In Lauras 54 years on earth, she has achieved so much. From going to school all over Canada to California. She graduated high school early in 1987. She then moved to Canada for a while and went back to California for a visit when she broke her back the first time. It was when she was staying in California after recovering that she met Chris, the love of her life and soulmate in May 1988. In 1989, Laura and Chris gave birth to their beautiful and only daughter Jasmine. Together, watching her become the wonderful woman she is today.

Laura was very involved in Jasmines extra curricular activities such as Room mom and Girl Scout leader. Both Laura and Chris won Girl Scout Volunteer of the year award multiple times. Chris coached Jasmines soccer teams and Laura was the ultimate soccer mom. She never missed a game and always gave the girls lots of moral support. It was through all this dedication and hard work she positively impacted so many kids forever. She often reminisced saying those were some of her most cherished moments.

She became a very successful as a Realtor to which she eventually extended her skills to teaching the art of Real Estate with Keller Williams in Santa Maria all while simultaneously working in Real Estate herself with Chris. Together they created a Husband and Wife power team for 15 years.

Laura overcame many trials and tribulations, but never let it change her or make her miss out on anything she loved. She was always there to lend a helping hand or give out the best advice, she was someone you can always count on. We miss her every moment of our existence.

For those of you who also don't know, Chris and Laura relocated to Ohio in 2019. Laura's parents, Vicki and Lawrie also decided to relocate to Ohio. Finally, Jasmine, Brent, and Emma also moved. It has been very hard for all of us to be so far from our close friends and family back in California.

We are planning to celebrate our dear amazing Lauras life in San Luis Obispo on August 10, 2024 and we could really use your support towards helping Chris and Jasmine with some of the financial burden of going home to celebrate with Lauras loved ones.

Unfortunately this is an uncomfortable situation and we don't want to have to ask for help but we have already been greatly financially impacted by her loss as well as final expenses.
